HBP acres included in large drilling units

Most posts I read seem to be from land owners with land that is not held by production. Is there anyone out there with a producing well that has been approached to have an old lease modified to include the acreage in a larger drilling unit? If so were you able to renegotiate the old lease for better terms?

Can't speak for anyone else but a few of the wells drilled so far have included HBP lands.  I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) the Geatches unit in Mahoning was drilled on HBP land.  Not sure if he had to modify his lease or not.  Some older leases do allow for larger drilling units and don't need modification, so I figure there are more than a handful of people who are out there holding no cards to bet with.
