Here is a link to an article written by a prominent oil & gas attorney about lease clauses often found in leases offered in the Utica and Marcellus Shale plays. Interesting reading and reinforces the fact that you MUST have a good landowner-friendly lease that you FULLY understand.

Leaders of that group and Mr. Emens were kind enough to make presentations at a meeting of landowners in Licking County. He reviewed the points in the linked article and also made the point that individual landowners cannot match the bargaining power of the corporate lessees -- thus the importance of forming landowner associations (non-profit) to present a united front and create greater bargaining power.

My favorite deer rifle is an old Sako Finnbear in .30-06 caliber.
The shale rush will likely hit Coshocton before it gets to Wayne.
