Pretty vague principles, and many are mandated by law, anyway. Still, I guess it's nice that they even care what the public thinks of them.
As Clara Peller said, "Where's the beef?" It's a list of high-minded-sounding unquantified platitudes. Like when an organization pledges to use "best practices", but doesn't spell out what those practices are. We know from reading their leases that the industry is quite capable of composing detailed documents. I do give the MSC points for one thing. When there is a preventable accident/spill/etc., they do acknowledge that it shouldn't have happened.
