Isn't there an existing pipeline running east/west through Tioga Co, around Little Marsh? East still needs to put in lots of miles of gathering lines for all the wells they have drilled. But any progress is good.

i have talked to 3 of our neighbors that have signed east contracts for the pipeline to go thru their property. 2 signed last nov 09 and 1 just signed march 2010. $5 a foot. pipeline will be going thru the property across the street for us. hope this helps
I wonder about the area between Stony Fork and Wellsboro, and west of Wellsboro; East has a lot of wells there and no pipeline in sight.
What about the Tennessee Gas Pipeline (now part of El Paso)? El Paso also has their 300 Line Project upgrade before FERC. Their proposed looping (parallel) sections 313 and 315 will serve Tioga County.

More info here:

Both these interstate line projects are going to take a while and I don't know at what point companies like East decide they're a sure enough thing to go ahead and build the gathering and intermediate in-state lines.
FERC has approved the El Paso Tennessee Gas Pipeline 300 Line Project.
I saw last week that a pipeline application was made through DEP by East R. starting just south of Route 6 maybe? for Charleston, Covington and Richmond Twp.s. Does anyone know more about this?
