Just curious...

I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

Thomas, the deep wells are TBR/Utica that's what Shell has drilled at Gee's,Neals and now there drilling Sharretts they are not Marcellus wells.

Are they shale gas wells? If not, can you describe what the subterranean formations look like that would produce the gas?

Thomas, google Trenton black river or Utica shale there's a lot of info there.

It must be good Shell is bringing more drill rigs into Tioga in the spring.

Same well, paleface.  I posted the url for the Site page instead of the facility page.

About these 1X vertical unconventional wells.  Are they "we're taking a look" wells?  What's the difference between what SWEPI is now naming as 1X and 1V we;;s?

Ann I don't know maybe someone could help us with that.

The only info I can get on the X is its a designation by Shell not the DEP also the Costanzo 818X is a Marcellus well.

Thanks for checking.  It looks like SWEPI is now using 2_H for the deeper wells.  (The DEP losts them as "No" in the Unconventional column in the permits reports.)

Like it wasn't confusing enugh already.

Is that the Costanzo on Davis Hill Road?
