We have property in Trumbull County and have been told by ALOV two more weeks but they have said that 3 times.  I am concerned about the length of time it is taking versus what they said it would take.  Has anyone else heard that they are promoting somewhere around $4000 or $4500 an acre and around 18% in royalties.  I have also heard people in the area  say that those per acre prices will start coming down as the companies expand into Trumbull County.  We have had interest at $1500 to $2000 per acre and 15% royalties and the ALOV proposal has more but I am not sure if it will really come true.

Are there any results on the test well drilled in Parkman?

not that I am aware of but im sure Chesapeake has a clue.

Any number or percentages floating around are just rumors. So for people to be saying I'm doing this or I'm voting that just seems a little silly to me. How about we find out what the real deal is and listen to what Alov has to tell us and then make up our minds.

Jeff I agree , might as well get the correct information right from the horses mouth,  until that happens it's all RUMOR...   Gives us all something to talk about just don't take it to serious.

And the sane members appear (myself excluded);)

Help me here someone. I don't want to wade back through the 19 pages of comments:

When/where is the next ALOV/Buckeye Mineral meeting to occur?

Have any actual terms/conditions been made available, or still just spec/rumors?

Any other recent or upcoming Landowner groups or solicitations for members known?

Thanks in advance.

Everything is top secret with the ALOV. About all I know is that we members signed extention cards back in November and hopefully they will have a deal before the deadline on May 13.

There are additional news and info updates appearing on following web places to further assist people following the great info available here. They are:

Facebook:    Shale Drilling for Non Know it Alls

Twitter: Drilling 4 Non-KiAs   @Non_KiA1

Take a look. If you need help on either social media venue, ask a teenager or twenty-something in your household for assistance. (That's what I have to do......)

Makes me wonder if that"history maven" is even from around here. Seriously just wants to stir the pot. People need to just shut up & let landowners do what they want with their land, rights & records.

Yes, Amanda.  That's a good question.  I am wondering how they are going to recover these early deeds (1790 -1980).  We went to the court house to recover our farm's original deed.  The clerk told us all were destroyed in an fire at the courthouse.

I haven't seen a lot of posting about the recent ALOV meeting - did it happen.  If the $3900 per acre and 17.5% royalty is true, I am surprised there are not more postings about it.  That would be impressive for unproven land in Trumbull County.  has anyone heard the results?  Are people supposed to vote?
