Its getting more interesting every day.   The nettle 3h was originally a chk well permit issued 1-25-12 .   acreage amount is the same and coordinates are almost exactly the same

Yeah I noticed that as well. This is getting interesting. Looks like they are starting in the east first. Wonder why they are starting on the Chesapeake JV acreage first?

i looked at the maps and clay township is outside of the enervest /chk /total jv . I think all of the chk land in tusc outside of the chk/total jv  was assigned to cgas which is owned by enervest .

From what I read Enervest bought Cgas back in 2003.

I am directly North of the E edge of Clay township in Goshen township.....so I hope the Nettle well will provide a clue as to what I could expect.

Ok makes sense now. Chesapeake must have assigned the nettle lease back to Enervest. Will be interesting to see where they choose to drill to find this potential volatile oil window.
They did they gave it back when they had money problems all of it in the Gilmore area.
Looking at permit today and they are going to use water from the Tuscarawas river for drilling and fracking this well.

Could this well be one that Enervest is drilling with its "Secret" Partner?

And did we ever figure out who that might be?

I looked at permit today and status says CA on completions report. I wonder if this well has been cancelled or the ODNR people made a mistake on the status of the well. I have seen mistakes from them in the past on reports.
I found out this well has not been cancelled. I have no clue why status says CA on the permit.

New Permits For Enervest Nettle well.
