Permalink Reply by Mark A Miller on October 19, 2011 at 1:22am The only one I know of at the moment is Homeland Energy in the Sugarcreek area,
There is another landowner group in Tuscarawas County.
H.E.L.P. is a non-profit landowner group based in Winesburg, one mile from the Tuscarawas County line. HELP has members from Holmes, Stark Tuscarawas & Wayne Counties. The website is: holmesenergyleasingpartnership.com, or Google: Holmes Energy Leasing Partnership.
Next meeting for HELP will be: Wed., November 9, 2011 at 7:00 PM
5638 State Route 94
(2 miles north of Mt. Eaton at the John Weaver farm)

Hello to all, I am new to this site and looking forward to following and adding to this site as the New Year comes upon us. It seems to be moving quickly and in many directions. If anyone knows of a land owner group that would cover my property on Hummel Valley Rd. S.W. New Philly, Goshen Twp. I would be greatful. Also if anyone has ideas on a fair a trustworthy land agent to deal with I would again be thankful for the info, I have 3.5 acres which is located close to one of the possible well sites I've heard . I have called and I am on a list wating for some information and a meeting with the ALOV group out of Leetonia, Ohio.( Anyone have any +or - on this group)? Would be thankful for any headsup.
Thank-You, Gary Harrington

That are seems to be split between CHK and Sierra. So it depends on where you are located exactly as to who would be your best bet.
I thought the whole are was already leased.....maybe you are already HBP and that is why you haven't been contacted.
I know several land owners there...all are leased with CHK.
Permalink Reply by Gary E. Harrington on December 16, 2011 at 8:04am No I've been slow on signing with anyone yet. When you say HBP could you explain that term as I'm not sure what it pertains to. Thanks in advance you al have been so helpful. Gary
I have a Number of an agent from CHK that I wil be contacting.

Your acreage may be part of a lease from long ago. That lease may be HBP from a nearby well.....producing from a unit that your acreage isn't part of.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale.
