Comment by Dolly Lama on January 23, 2015 at 9:20am Hi ! Newbie here, so if these questions have already been asked, I apologize.
We recently ( December 2014) signed a 5 year lease agreement with Statoil for 30 acres in Tyler Co. for Marcellus shale. They indicated that they wanted to start drilling immediately, but so far we haven't heard anything. What I'm inquiring about is:
* I heard that Statoil flipped some leases to Southwest Energy and / or Chesapeake. Is this true and will this have any bearing on estimated drill dates?
* I know that NG has taken quite a tumble price wise, but Statoil REALLY wanted our property. Is this the old "hurry up and wait" game or is Statoil sincere in their intent?
TIA for all of your help. :0)
Anyone dealing with the ET Rover line. Next meeting is at the Tyler County Log house on the Fairgrounds @ 7:00 pm Feb. 3rd.
Siltstone is a group of Chinese investors doing the middleman thing. I have dealt with them and they seem to shoot straight with decent money if you want to go that route. I have never actually signed a lease with them.
Comment by jed davis on September 24, 2014 at 1:39pm Has anyone heard of a Mike Stanley who may be doing some leasing?
Comment by Arnold L Stuart on July 28, 2014 at 7:28am Nancy: you are right, the permits that showed up today in the weekly report are the only one's that I have seen. I went to the Oil & Gas web site for permits, and it only shows what we see today on the weekly report. I know there will be more as I signed a modification to an old lease from them last month.Good things continue to happen in our neck of the woods.
Comment by Nancy Mosley on July 28, 2014 at 5:40am Yes I saw that Arnold. I don't remember Noble there until now, I am probably wrong.
Comment by Arnold L Stuart on July 28, 2014 at 5:23am Nancy: Noble is also active in Doddridge, Look at today's Weekly Report.
Comment by Nancy Mosley on July 28, 2014 at 5:13am Kyle, I think Noble is also active in Tyler.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
