I spoke with Jason by phone today. He wanted to confirm to anyone interested in coming to the meeting that he does represent Shell Oil in this area. He also wanted to let everyone know that he not be offering leases at the meeting. This will be an information meeting only. Due to limited seating please r.s.v.p. by phone if you plan to attend. (814) 671-4446. A text message (preferred)  with your name and number of people attending or a voicemail.
Michael, can you provide the actual street address of the furniture store?  Thanks.

Parkers Furniture Store

Route 257, Cranberry PA

Please note, this is the Cranberry, Pa located in Venango County, NOT the Cranberry, PA located near Mars and Wexford!!

Here are the directions. Take Barkeyville exit of 80, follow 8 north to Franklin, PA.  At Franklin, follow Route 322 East about 7 miles past Franklin you will see a Home Depot on your right, then a Walmart, the Cranberry Mall will be on your left. Route 257 is the LEFT just passed the mall. There is a Sheets station at the intersection where you turn left. Follow 257 about 1/2 mile. Parkers Furniture Store is on the left.

Do you have any idea what he is going to talk about?  Is Shell looking to move into northern Venango county?

Jason

I don't have any more information than previously stated.

Great Meeting!!  Appreciated the honest, open discussion! Thanks Jason!
Can anyone say what was discussed duirng the meeting?   Thanks

Yes, I have the same question as Mark. Can anyone say what happened at the meeting? I just saw this notice today.

Jason Hannath, a landman for Shell, came to the meeting to address landowners in the area.  It was simply an informational meeting with lots of Q&A.  Jason stated that currently Shell is active only in lower Venango county.  I got the impression that many of the landowners in attendance had property north of Irwin, Clinton and Scrubgrass townships.

If anyone wants Jason's contact info, friend me and send me a personal message and I'll reply. Keep in mind Shell was not interested in Irwin township only a few months ago so I'd expect them to continue to move northward in the coming months.

I have a tentative meeting in Venango County November 16th
to discuss options for landowners as well as the leasing process.  This meeting will cover issues that every landowner should understand before signing a lease.  Jason, works for Shell and he agrees and will tell you that every landownwer should talk to an attorney who works for you and
not the O&G industry.

Spoke with Jason Hannah yesterday. He is offering us a lease.
