its in colliers up behind highland hills cwb we only have a little over 2.5 acres there .I don't look for them to drill in 5 yrs they are to buisy maxing out the exitsting pads they purchased from cheseapke but you never know

cwb dps contacted me also offered me $2500 an acre I told him I got $3000 an acre 5 yrs ago he said ok they will prob do the $3000 ended up $3000 an acre 16% royalty absolutely no deductions what so ever in the contract this is in brooke county also
It has been a while since anyone has posted here. Looks like an update is in order.
SWN has started picking up new leases and renewing expiring leases they bought back in the day from CHK. We've been able to get $4000/acre and 18% gross from them. Would be interested to see if anybody has been able to do better.

Easiest and fastest way is to go to the Brooke County Courthouse in Wellsburg and make a copy of the "Declaration and Notice of Pooled Unit" aka the DPU.

The way I found out the names of the owners in a unit was by contacting DEP and actually getting the plat of the unit, mailed to me from the chief at DEP.
This plat states the names and how many acres are included plus the lines of all the boundries.
You can call James Martin at the WVDEP.
