Joe, The rig was there last time I went by about four days ago. I will have to check this out on Friday. And for Adam I bet you know every one on that road, all Amish from what I can see.

They use an entirely different rig to drill horizontal than they do to drill test holes according to what chk told the neighbor to the south.

Odnr is a bit behind, the rig is down and off the site and from what I"ve heard it did flare but there is no flame now. As for if that is bad or good i don't know enough about this stage of things.

Joe, The Mast well in Parkman from what I see from the ODNR site is being drilled Horizonatal now. This well has been flared off several times and I heard that they have the wet gas.

Mark, i just read about the free gas that was offered, holy cow now that would be nice. NOT going to happen but sounds good, also the new appliances, now thats a catch. People really have to start getting their information right to keep the wolves at bay.

Joe, they tried the same thing with my friend in morgan county, lowball with them making the free gas sound as if you hit the lottery.

My friend did his research and got a decent offer with good percentage, they also installed all the gas lines to his house and he gets new gas appliances for free every year, stove, furnance

He had to build a cinderblock shed to house away from his house for the meter and safety valves for insurance reasons.

So it cost him $4-5000 for the cinderblock shed and they supplied everything else

So have your friends do their research carefully and don't jump at the first ofer they get.

the free gas thing is what makes the whole thing smell a bit, let alone the low ball offer.  It has a wishguard kind of smell to it right down to them promoting a few names of retirees looking to sign.  Trust me I told them to have these folks tell them the whole story!
