Kenyon Energy they work for CHK, I would talk to your neighbors and get a feel of what everyone is being offered. They started at 1000 back in December now we have doubled that. I dont think we should be comparing utica with marcellus and I believe that the Utica is going to be superior to the marcellus, from what I am hearing(oil, oil, oil,). Hang in there and keep watching as this shale play unfolds, we are still in early stages of this new play. Please try to inform others as many people are still being taken advantage of, (people signing for $30 an acre!). I was told earlier this year that 1500 was their best offer and I have to sign two weeks later it bumped to 2000 interesting enough they did scare others into signing. Sorry for rambling on just have been following this for a while now and feel that others should know what is going on. Good luck and keep in touch.
