The natural gas Industry took some of its most valued suppliers and biggest job creators out to the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Railriders ball game.
The audience for the June 21 minor league baseball game between the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Railriders and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at PNC Field in Moosic included 960 employees, family members and friends of partners in the natural gas industry. Energy Night coincided with the summer solstice, and fans were treated to a spectacular sunset as well as a 3 to 1 victory by the home team. The event was coordinated for a fourth year by Cabot Oil & Gas.
“We’re having a great time,” said Ron Kiecana, chief development officer of IMG Midstream. The company develops and operates small-scale power generators across the norther tier and had four employees at the ballpark for the first time. “We look forward to coming back in the future. It’s a nice event.”
