"Jock: Perhaps you are correct that the wells I am thinking of had older leases limiting the pool size; 2 of the 3 wellsites I know had older Range leases on portions of the parcels that got unitized. Thanks for the input."

yes we were offered 1500 and 12 1/2% , or 2500 and 15% if we give surface rights. some friends just signed last week for 5000 and 20% but not with any one dealing with chesepeake, wondering if there is a large differance between wich o&g company is interested in the area
