Bill, my mother was approached by dale about a year ago, offered her $200 for 3 acres, when she said she wasn't interested the guy said thats alright we will just suck the gas out from under you anyway,nice guy! by the way she's 76 yrs old.

Bill, how much acreage is open around you for Chesapeake to even lease? They will not be able to produce off your 10 acres unless they can put together an acreage block around you. Have you contacted Rex? They have a large leasehold position in Forward Township and would be more likely to put you in a producing unit.

May, there has been alot of lease flipping from co to co going on so its not really a problem, they'll just trade leases to fill in units.

There is acreage ... just talked to my neighbor behind me and they have 500+ acres with various owners and are negotiating with various companies ... Chesapeake is one of them.
