My family is currently in negotiations with Gastar for leasing 100+ acres in the Moundsville area.  We live out of state so we don't know the area too well but on www.naturalgasforums.com there is a section for Drilling which shows recent permits in Marshall Co., many are by Gastar.

Any information on permits for wells or any activity in the area of Rt 250, south of Cameron north of Littleton,  in the

 “Cecil H. Underwood Wild Management Area”  

Property  owned by the WV Division of Natural Resources ( WV does not hold all mineral rights)

I'm don't know what happening in Marshall but there is something going on. In the past four weeks  5000 leases filed.  Last week Marshall was the lease leader again with 2077 leases filed.

I wish i did, I'm triing to figure out how to find the information at the county website. Not so easy. I'm in eastern belmont and I'd like to know what's happening to my east. I'll keep looking.
