Not sure when Shell's payout term expires, but it may be worth going to the Gulfport meet & greet to see if they would be interested in picking your acreage up if Shell falls through. I know that it seems like they have a lot of acreage in the area around your land.
Permalink Reply by Faith Johnson on April 13, 2012 at 12:00pm Did you have the 120 business days? My lease with Shell was signed on Nov 21st 2011 and my 120 days are not even up yet.
Nelson, what is the size of this drilling unit? The Harrison Co. Wagner well is 1277 acres. Alot of land will be held by production with one well.

I haven't researched it too much yet. I believe Jeanette K. is up around that way, so she may be able to shed some light on more info as I figure it may be the talk of the town up there.

Pritchard info... http://www.pritchardlaughlin.com/events/
Attached is all I can find online for the well permit to date.. looks like just stratigraphic test so far
I'll try the attachment again...
Permalink Reply by Jeanette Krunich on April 12, 2012 at 5:26am I agree with Steve Gardner. I think it was less than 200 A and a verticle test well.
I don't see any acreage mentioned for this well other than the Pre Construction Permit which notes a 400' X 600' (5+ acres) location. It just says its a Strat test well drilled to 10,000'
I will try Again to attach the permit...
If you guys go to the Belmont Co. page and look under the "Well on Zion Retreat Property" thread, you can see the drilling unit for the Wagner well, which was posted by Finnbear.
