Members of the Riverfront Landowners Group are receiving checks from Eclipse!

The landowners in Jackson, Lee and surrounding townships who signed up with the Southeastern Ohio Landowners Association (SEOLA) have started receiving checks from Eclipse Resources. The group is commonly called The Riverfront Landowners Group because of it's location and is headed by Jennifer Garrison and the law firm Bricker and Eckler. Landowners started receiving checks last week.

Thanks Donna, it was a real team effort. I was in the group you are talking about for a few months until we formed the Riverfront Landowners Group. We were very fortunate to get hooked up with SEOLA. I know I sound like an informercial but Jennifer and her team brought in 40 million dollars to these two townships. I'm proud of that but it was their hard work and connections that got the deal done at the end of the day.
SGJ,
Thanks. I have heard that Eclipse wants to drill this on their own. That being said Oil and Gas companies like to spread the risk so JV's are common in the business.

Frank Congrats , Really great to see the landowners get their checks, especially as it shows Des is full of it again, he said at his last meeting that eclipse would never payout & then even posted that in his rant! LOL

Also nice to see the JV with Antero, at least I assume since I heard the checks are from Antero hope that bodes well for those us more in central Monroe,

can I ask how many total acres you signed in the river group? just my curiousity

Thanks Tom. It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 10k.
SGJ,
You'll have to ask the commissioners that one.
Eclipse was chosen to be an EnCap company. That should tell you something. They have the experience and organizational capabilities to finish what they start.
Happy Fathers Day to whom it applies here on GMS.

FYI.  My wife and I received a check June 20th.

To the best of my knowledge but we are "absentee owners" and reside hours away.  We were extremely fortunate and blessed to be part of this group.

Tom good deal!!!
Donna,
People who signed up on March 17th have gotten paid IF there weren't any defects on their property. Some people who signed after that haven't gotten paid because their land hasn't been abstracted or the 90 days are not up. On my property it took longer than 90 days because I had a defect on 24 acres that I couldn't clear up. So in the end it was about 95 days.
I guess if I were to give anyone advice, it would be to sign up early in a good solid group and keep yourself informed about the minerals on your own property. I know that I'm going to get clobbered for saying this but the Jennifer Garrison, Bricker and Eckler team were the best. With that being said the Perry/Benton group is building acreage and looks good. Now is the time to join this group if you have acreage in these townships.
