Frac pond also permitted and planned on that property. I wouldn't recommend taking the kids fishing in that pond though. ; )

I beg to differ Jason. It will be a fresh water impoundment pond. They will fill it with fresh water and nothing will be pumped back into it. Fish could live in it easily. They are not used for storing produced water or used frac water, at least I've not seen one used like that in quite awhile. Things are changing for the better.

I suppose they could go against the grain though and use it for used water....i seriously doubt it though.

I see. It's just that when you read the easement it's called a "frac pond" and they are required to do well testing all around the pond throughout the life of the pond. A fresh water pond would not need strict testing of soil and water around it, right?  I don't work for Frac Tech or anything so I'm certainly no expert but from what I read they could use it for that. With that being said, I used to eat Bluegill and Bass out of the Ohio river near Shippingport so who am I to tell anyone where to fish!!!  HAHA.

It looks like NOSS UNIT "(3)"  Wells when zoomed in on map
are actually 3 wells, and the MCMICHAEL UNIT "(8)" Wells are actually 8 wells or are these the  horizontal drillings and frackings?

NOSS Wells:

Zoomed:

ust found out from Range:

Noss 4,5,6, Ultimately will have 6 wells at the NOSS Pad, 20 ft apart,3 North West and 3 South East.

MCMICHAEL Pad: Will have 7 wells ,4 NW and 3 SE

They are taking the Noss rig down.

From what I understand, they take the first rig down that they used to drill the "vertical" well head when it is completed and then they  erect the "big" rig for the horizontal fracking process

The big rig is up..

Attachments:

Big rig is down and there are 6 large tanks on site.

Got behind two big strange looking green and yellow rigs on Rt 18 bearing Texas tags coming home from Saturday mass in Burgettstown today. I caught the words “FracTech” in small letters on the side of one of them and decided to follow them and ended up at the Noss Well site on Bassett Rd ,my hunch was right.

 Let the Fracking begin!

Just read a few day old article about Range's Noss well and ELEVEN laterals! Drill baby drill! Where are they Heading next? Hopefully my way.
