Horizontally ?

Rhinestreet = 0 permits

Huron = 0 permits

Marcellus = 1 permits

Gennesse = 0 permits

Utica & TBR & PP = 82 permits (+/-)

do they have The other formation to be deeveloped later?  The Rhine street is being targeted in our area beccause three hundred feet think!  The geneesee is probably just as thick.  I wonder what the thickness of the formation are in your area!  Thx

Myles,

 Thickness is one measurement that is involved in estimating Natural Gas & Liquids yields.

 Other very important factor include:

 Maturity: The proper maturity for Wet Gas is determined by pressure, temperature & time.

 Porosity: How easily can the hydrocarbons flow out, if at all?

 Total Organic Carbon: TOC varies from 2.5% to 4%

 The Utica Shale is about 150' thick and the Point Pleasant is about 150' thick, too.

the utica point pleasant is 250 to three hundred feet thick here and the wet gas content is4.6 in venago I three miles from there and warren county is1.92 erie 8.55.  I  havedesorbes vitrate ambietporsity gas dep data. pressure in the wells around me in verticle is 1300 rock pressure on verticle.

so who is right?

JN,

 Both ...

 My replies are applicable for Carroll County, Ohio.

 The original question was regarding: "Formations in Carrol County, Ohio".

 Myles is referencing thicknesses and other data for formations in Venango County & Warren County which are in Pennsylvania.

 Yes, the thickness and probably every other characteristic of the formations in PA will be very different from the formations in Carroll County, Ohio.

 Both answers are correct for there respective county and state.
