Permalink Reply by JR on December 6, 2012 at 2:49am I'm told CONSOL and Carizzo are leasing just north of Stone Creek in Angel Valley.
Are they leasing together or seperately. Do you know what township is Angel Valley?
Permalink Reply by JR on December 9, 2012 at 4:26am It appears to be Jefferson TWP, if not Auburn, but I'm pretty sure it's Jefferson. It's my understanding they're leasing separately. Much of that area is HBP, and I'm told Carizzo is offering a small amount per acre bonus money to renegotiate HBP leases, but no extra royalty percentage. Consol is not offering up front money but a little boost in royalties. Anyone on here with first-hand knowledge want to help verify what I just said? Thanks
Permalink Reply by JR on December 9, 2012 at 5:08am That's what I'm told. Sorry, I live away and a local neighbor filled me in. The number was $750/acre to renegotiate. No increase in royalties. I'm not sure who they bought HBP from.
Permalink Reply by JR on December 9, 2012 at 5:42am I agree. Though, I'd take a royalty increase over a small bonus with no royalty increase. But that's just me. It may serve someone else better to have the cash up front. I'm encouraged to see continued activity in the area. Good luck!
Anyone has any more updates either on the Beachy well or the Troyer well. Last thing I heard the Troyer well was turned on line anyone know any production information on that well.
Anyone have any more information on the Beachy or the Troyer well.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
