Permalink Reply by Rob Rotz on December 3, 2012 at 8:42am i do not have a map, but it runs the guernsey belmont county line then turns east through belmont county to Hendrysburg. From there not sure.
Permalink Reply by David Cain on December 4, 2012 at 3:24pm Robert, We've communicated a couple of times before. I have property very near yours on the Guernsey/Belmont line. I have not been approached regarding this pipeline. However, Oxford Oil is trying to put in a small 6" line based on a row I signed 5 years ago before I knew any better. Do you know if Oxford is involved with this large pipeline project?
Thanks

the pile line that i am dealing with turns east before it would reach your property. I do not think oxford has anything to do with this one. Oxford is trying to cross you to tie into the one they ran across me two years ago. im sure we signed the same deal, $10 per rod ? that equals $.62 cents per foot verus $25 that i am being offered now. all i can say is try to hold them up as long as possible, dont let them blast right through you because they do not do a very good job in my oppinion. i have wash outs that i made them come back and repair and they left large chunks of rock all over for my mower to hit.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
