Is this something that you read about or where did you get your information.  With all of Chesapeakes issues it would make sense.

Several folks have posted on here that they had received letters from CHK asking permission to reassign their leases.  Others, didn't include that clause in their leases so CHK is under no obligation to notify them if/when they re-assign their lease.  A friend in the area had mentioned to me that CHK was reassigning their leases to Enervest. The details are fuzzy, but it does appear CHK is selling or reassigning a lot (if not all) of it's TUSC Co leases.  Hoping folks with first-hand knowledge can share their experiences here. It'll be interesting to see who theses leases end up with.  A friend who's an industry insider thinks 2014 will be a HUGE year for the Utica.  He mentioned Exxon and Chevron as possible players to "science up" the oil window. If someone would friend me. I would like to see receive a copy of this letter from Chesapeake asking permission. Our lease was assigned to Chesapeake and we have repeatedly pointed out through correspondence to them that this only could have with our permission which never happened. We are building a case against this reassignment. A copy of this letter would help our case. personal information could be removed if so desired. If these companies come into Ohio and act improperly towards us we must stand together and teach them the proper way to treat citizens. This is the age of information. Let's put it to use to even the playing field.
