I would also like to know if anyone is currently leasing??
Lario in some select spots. Hilcorp on the eastern edge of the county. Most of the land in Mahoning is either leased or HBP. Those few who are unleased must have been asleep for the last two years.
Or waiting for the units for a true picture of the value of their asset.
Yeah, you're giving people waaaaaay too much credit, Ron. Most of the landowners that we're talking about voted for Ron Gerberry as our State representative, so I'm not giving them too much in the way of "long term thinking" to the level you mention.
Does anyone have any contact information for BP?
Anyone???
Drive up to North Jackson and pay them a visit. Who knows what they'll have to say but at least they can't put you on hold when your sitting in their lobby. They're located in the Youngstown commerce park at the SE corner of Bailey and Mahoning Ave.
BP is a no go! We are currently in the processes of adoption and we were hoping a lease could help pay for the adoption! So I guess we will just have to hope for a lease in the future.
God bless you for adopting a child.
You sound really optimistic about prospects for mahoning county Fang. Would you mind sharing why you think land in this county will be worth that? Is there a particular part of the county that you are thinking about? Just curious since we're on the western edge and the only activity anywhere near here is the Cadle well. Thanks for your info.
Unless there is a pretty clear indicator that there will be huge liquids those numbers are a little high.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
