There is an EQT Prentice Well site permitted in Forward Township also.
I will check Monday morning and let you know if the well plats are available yet for the Oliver East & West sites. The plats would show if your property is within the unit, and the direction of the horizontal bore. Here are links to the DEP permits:

Most well plats show the parcels inside, and outside of the unit. EQT doesn't show that info on their plats, so I was hoping you could use the road locations shown to figure out if your property was close to, or inside of one of the units.

Permalink Reply by Oliver Perry on April 3, 2013 at 10:30am No, I don't work for EQT. I'm just a western Pennsylvania landowner. Sorry, I don't know if there are any future wells planed for your area, but I wish you luck.

I mapped the latitude & longitude of the wells on Google Earth, and Mentor Rd. is about 2 miles east of both wells. Unfortunately you are not in the units associated with these wells.
Hopefully if they have good production, EQT will drill more and possibly include your property next time.

EQT has a storm water permit for the Prentice well pad in Forward Twp., but I don't know how to find the exact location of it. When they apply for the well permit, the plat will be available, and it can then be located with the latitude & longitude data on the plat. I sent you a friend request so I can let you know when this info becomes available. Here is a link to the storm water permit.

| AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] | Links |
