Does anyone think they will ever drill? Seems like they've been going to start for the last 2 years......wondering if they are just going to be a huge flipper?

I have tried to find the Kleski sight two times but have never found it. Sierra was very professional dealing with and timely with the lease payments. Was hoping they were a notch above the rest of the companies. Not sure what to think now.
I believe the hold up is infrastructure. They can drill but if there are no lines they can't produce.
Went for a bike ride Saturday out by Gilmore area and the pipelines were being buried. Was also hoping to see something starting at the Mollet well.
They still say they are drilling two wells this year, Ive never heard anything first hand from them that ever indicated that they would sell their Tusc leasehold.
Maria is right, there is pretty much 0 infrastructure in tuscarwas county. Even when they do drill, they will most likely have to choke them back until pipelines are put in. They are not a flipper, just moving slower than most would like.
The hardest thing is the waiting. I am sure I speak for most.
I also believe they are a flipper. When they brought the bonus check in December, they had us sign a addendum to the lease that they could sell to someone else. They do not have the technology to get the oil out of Tuscarawas County. I am guessing that the rumor they are selling to Chevron is true.
Frank, anything going on with the Stocker well outside of Gnaden?
I also would not be surprised if they sell out to Chevron either. They have done nothing yet for a year or more.I think it will be up to the big dogs to get the oil out of the ground.
THE T-COUNTY/SIERRA AREAS SEEM TO BE THE HIGH GOR AND WET GAS AREAS WHICH OTHER DRILLERS SEEM TO BE DRILLING IN OTHER COUNTIES. ARE THESE OTHER DRILLERS HAVING SUCCESS? SUCH AS IN GUERNSEY COUNTY.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
