Too Late??

I am in the final stages of purchasing a recreational tract of land in the Kortright area of Delaware County, and a had a few quetions for the group as it relates to the Marcellus Shale. Is this area of Delaware Cty receiving the same interest levels for gas leasing  that Hancock, NY and Sullivan county have?  Is this section of Delaware cty in the so called "sweet spot" based on any presentations people have attended?  Is there a way to acquire any detailed map information on the Marcellus?  Thanks!

The first thing to look for is whether or not you are in the watershed of either of the reservoirs. If you are, good luck, it will very difficult to get a lease and/or a drilling permit.

Thanks. Can I get a map from NYS DEC that would spell out the boundaries? If not, where can I find that information? Thank you.
