Any idea as to $ per arce Seneca is now offering? I am currently being approached about my land.

hi robert , my name is jim hillman and i am from mckean county. I am currently working with a company called ARS. they are very friendly and helpful! they offered me 3-4k per acre pending an evaluation of my property. i can get you their info if you would like. i have been shopping companies and have found this one to be the best so far.

We were offered 500$/acre in Elk cty about a month ago. Keep looking the barracudas are lurking around our area!

There's a guaranteed $3,000/15.5%/10 year out there right now. The 15.5% is a transparent # because there are no deductions for any fees or costs for transmission, etc.

I signed 2 years ago with eog and have 2 producing marcellus wells on my property now. I got 100 and acre back then which I was happy with because the property is such and odd piece. (3 miles long by 60Ft wide) The money is in the royalties which is a nice monthly income.

Mark Wegemer, I am hearing & reading that marcellus wells are producing a lot of gas. A recent published statistic indicated an average of 2 million cubic feet per day per marcellus well. If one assumes this is coming off a 600 plus acre tract, about what value would you put on the gas per month? If you want to email me apart from this forum: davisptz@aol.com

I am glad that you've been happy with what you got! I keep seening the latter in our area. I was recently in contact with ARS who have given me a better deal on my royalties. This has helped me in a couple of ways, the money is up front and I do not have to wait. The also are helping renegotiate my lease as it is about to expire. How much are you receiving a month? Is your well located near St Marys?  I heard a well in Elk County was the best in the state.  Is it yours?  Did you retire with all the royalties you are receiving?  Should I sell my royalties now or wait for a well?  I own 126 acres in St Marys, fox township.

Try contacting Seneca resources..they recently made an offer to us and we are reviewing the paperwork. The MDS lease is a future sale..with heavy loaded commission to the promoter. Take your time and check out other options.
