Wells in Harrison Township

Has anyone heard any news about the Cairns Well and how its producing? Is anybody out there getting royalties from this well?

You talking about the one in carrol county? If so it's a good well drilled by Enervest. It produced 20,951 barrels of oil and 92,860 of gas in 120 days reported by the ODNR this year.

The Cairns Well in Harrison Township--Its been in production for at least 200 days-they said its in the top 5 producers in that production time--i was wondering what its been doing now, i have not heard about it lately. Plus, i was wondering if anybody out there was getting royalties from it.

The Cairn 5H is in Harrison twp, Carroll county, OH.
The top month's production was 30912 MCF and 5788 Bbls. Current production is about 38% of max for gas and about 28% for oil. The Decline rate seems faster than some estimates I've seen - I don't know if they are holding back or not. Enervest has been paying royalies monthly since last October.

Thanks--just wondering, where did u get this information? Are u near this well? Also, what does 38%of max mean? Does it mean its only producing 38% from 30912 mcf , which is 11746.56 mcf ? Are these numbers per month or per day? Thanx

I'm a land owner with acreage in the Cairn 5H unit. The production numbers are for one month as stated on the royalty payment. There may be some difference then with other 30 day periods reported. The royalties are paid by calendar month so that is the breakdown that I have. You are correct with the percentages.

Ok thanx--I am also a land owner with acreage in the cairns unit, but I am in the 1H lateral thats not tapped in yet or even permitted yet. Are we ever gonna be able to retire off this well? Are the royaIties any good? I believe the well is being held back until all these pipe lines are installed. I did hear about a cryogenic plant going in the Leesville area June 2014. Thanks my neighbor--
