If I'm not mistaken, there have been fewer than 5 drilling permits issued in Jefferson County in 2013 but lots of activity in the surrounding counties. Any ideas on what is going (or not going) on?

Profitability of wet gas over dry gas has driven companies to drill their wettest positions first. That said there has been a lot of money spent leasing Jefferson county and eventually the drillers will need to start making some of that back.
