So I guess this is the result of a court case - anyone here know exactly what happened to get to this settlement?
Warren H Wefler seems to be owner of the Parcels in TUSC county
Here is a perfect example of true value. Location, logistics, geology, infrastructure, sounds to me like a lot of homework before the bid.
Who is conducting the auction? Might be interesting to see...
Kiko
I was at an auction last Saturday and they auctioned off 81 acres of mineral rights in southern Stark County. I believe it sold for around 275.00 per acres.
One would have to be astute and educated about the minerals of a certain property in an auction. Randomly bidding on minerals is very risky.
i would think that many of these acres are currently leased, HBP'd...........i attended a kiko farm auction last year in the middle of all those stark county acres a hair south west of massillon.....80ish acre farm in parcels....the minerals went with the land 5k to 6k per acre............the lease was posted at the auction.......can't remember who the company was but is was a pretty standard boilerplate old lease....one of the parcels had a shallow well with minimal production.
Booger, as far as the mineral value, I bet the buyers regret what they paid.
are these rights currently owned by kiko?........I know they auction a bunch of land......wondering if they bought a bunch that went low and now are selling off the rights?
