Tues 29th.. two oil tankers today..
but similar size tankers with NO placard to be seen went out also... big long similar to oil tankers
but no placard that I could see.. also .. some kind of red painted small looking pump on front of trailer behind cab on drivers side...
brine trucks are small trucks... and clearly marked "brine"
these are 40 foot long tankers like oil tankers but no Warning Placard....
Kinda like I77 out here on cubbison...:)
Sound like brine trucks to me: No flammable placard, and apparently a pump mounted on the tractor frame, pretty typical for a tractor trailer set up to haul brine. Much more efficient than using the iconic straight truck, and able to haul 120-135 barrels at a time, rather than the smaller truck hauling only 70-90 barrels. There should be some lettering on the truck indicating that it is hauling "Residual Waste" or a UIC permit number.
I will try and get closer on the next one and see what is on it...
didn't see any writing so far... but I would guess also some kind of waste...
Didn't see any tankers today... but not here all day...
Wed 30th...
You should setup a game camera that takes a photo everytime a tanker truck passes by.
I THINK UR NOT LOOKING ALL TANKERS HAVE A TYPE OF DESCRIPTION AS TO WHAT THEY ARE TRANSPORTING BE IT OIL ,FRESH WATER,BRINE IT SO EMERGENCY PEOPLE CAN ID THEIR RISK AND WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT TO INCOUNTER ........HOW WOULD ANYONE KNOW WHAT WAS IN A TANKER IF IT WRECKED .....LOOK A LITTLE CLOSER
FRIDAY NOV 1ST.. 8:30 am
another oil tanker goes by..
so far seems to be one everyday at this time....
rest of day havnt seen any.. but not here all day...
Thursday 8:30 am...
Oil tanker goes by....:)

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
