Has anyone been paid by American Energy Partners or any of it Subsidiaries yet? (American Energy Ohio, American Energy Orange, or Great River Energy)

I know that American Energy Orange has stiffed dozens of independent contractors (abstractors and landmen) in Washington and Noble Counties...many of these people worked for 8-10 weeks without getting paid and then they just fired them all. This was at least a month ago and they still haven't paid anyone.

That's not good. It makes you wonder what kind of people we are dealing with. I hope this isn't how they do business. Maybe there was a good reason for letting those people go, but they still should have been paid.

Martin, Paloma  may have been the safer bet with McClendon involved. Great River called me and said my lease  with Ohio Energy partners needs to be signed again with Great River. Probably a stall tactic so they don't pay in 90 days.

I don't think it had to do with the people. They were let go around the time it was announced that AEP had acquired/joint ventured on a huge chunk of acreage in Geurnsey county. I think they moved north and left the folks in the southern end of the play hung out to dry...seems funny they would stiff a few 100k when they are supposedly capitalized with 1.4 billion.

1.4 bill aint shit.. when 1 pad with 8 holes could cost 155 mill or more.. lack of funds will be the program again. just like it was throughout the Chesapeake crusade..  there are companies well funded in the same region.   if you don't get paid from AEP ..Great River, Paloma etc..  call me

1 pad with 8 wells for $155mm?  No one would drill at that cost - your numbers are way off.
