who is american energy utica?..........is this mclendons new gig?.......there are 5 new permits in Harrison county - Jones wells.

spacing is set at 750'.......part of the 635 acre unit is in the Clendening MWCD, which is leased by gulfport.....so they must be working with gpor somewhat.

this is very close to gpor's boyscout well.........looks like a good location.

Yepper; that's Aubrey! Partnered with Kimble's Red Hill Development. He'll be getting some rigs in here, real soon. probably got about 80,000 acres leased now in Guernsey/Harrison.

i thought so, but i thought the name was american energy partners.

these were the only wells i could find on the dnr database for this company in the whole state.

not sure how it works when one company includes land in a unit, that another company has leased, but about 25% of this unit is state land leased to gulfport.......i wonder if mclendon and chk will work together on these kinds of business deals......i wouldn't think bad blood would get in the way of making money.

Gulfport would be the 25% participating working interest holder.  Happens in almost every unit out there,

right - but i wonder if that is kindof a straightforward deal, or if there is much to negotiate.........because if mclendon and chk had to negotiate, then maybe bad blood would get in the way.

Booger,

They have a permit to drill RH Conotton MRF HR-5 well in Moorefiled township in Harrison county as well. The horizontal permits for that well have not been issued yet. This well is east of Clendening Lake Marina and close to Piedmont.

thanks TM ...............i see that now, just a couple miles straight south of the jones wells..........looks like they be far enough to stay out of gpor state leasehold..........also notice alot of RHDK investment property in the area which i would assume is Red HIll Development.

Douglas.........is that off of Jones road?........the dnr viewer shows it pretty far off of the road.

well they are certainly not wasting time........they must have been doing pad work before they got the permit.
