Has anyone been recently contacted about the purchase of your mineral rights or outright buying of land parcels? If so, by whom and when, how much. Thanks in advance

Permalink Reply by Mark McGrail on March 30, 2014 at 8:19am I wouldn't be in a rush to sell those oil and gas rights.
We are still not far into the development stage of the Utica in Trumbull County.
Although BP and Halcon may be taking a turtle like approach it does not mean that full development in the county is far off. In fact, I have heard whispers of other companies looking specifically at northern Mahoning County and Trumbull County. Wheter that means purchasing leases from other companies or joint ventures I can't say.
All I know is that it may be wise to cool your heels a bit longer; otherwise you may regret your decision later. There is no way you will be paid what the future royalties may be worth.
Patience is a virtue, all good things come to those who wait.

Permalink Reply by tomvargo706 on April 1, 2014 at 4:25am What would be a fair price for mineral rights in the middle of Trumbull? Low to high end price. Any thoughts?
Permalink Reply by MJ on April 1, 2014 at 5:09am Good luck getting a "fair" answer to that question. Lets ask Snort - see what he thinks.
