Hopefully acquiring / leasing / drilling / developing but don't know for sure.

Keep us posted dude.

We're just across the Penn / Oh line and wishing all of you and ourselves the best of luck.

Are lease with Enervest on our property in Beaver township expired in March of this year and haven't heard from anyone about renewing it.
Mark, what kind of money did this company pay for your lease? Bonus? Royalty percentage? Thanks.
James I don't know what the original lease paid. We have only owned the property for about a year. The original lease had been transferred 3-4 times according to the records with Enervest being the last one to have it.
Ok, just wondered because I own 64 acres in Crawford county and wondered what kind of mony to expect if they called me, thanks.

We got 50 per acre last time, exclusive of the Utica...they are looking again. Heard a rumor of $200 an acre    These guys ONLY want the Beekmantown by the way.

Who are "these guys"?

They're big lessees in northeast Ohio.

Out of West Virginia.

Good to see them getting busy.

They're big on leasing low and selling (or Joint Venturing) high from what I've read / heard about them - just like all of the rest of them - lol.

Are they in JV with anybody in PA ?

JO -check out the Mercer County PA recorders website (sign in as a guest) On 9-5-14 there was a deal recorded between Hilcorp and Enervest. Don't know the details

Reads like the lands being developed are held by old tailgate class leases - pre-Marcellus / pre-Utica.

Am I reading correctly ?

I have about 4 acres in Mercer and Lawrence Counties that was divided from my grandfathers farm that had an1990 existing lease with Atwood energy and has traded numberous times, and is currently held by Enervest.

Western land  services has finally contacted us about ratifing the existing lease. This comes from an joint venture between Enervest and Hilcorp.

Sad thing is that they prep the site in June and have been drilling next door since then.

Western Land services says we neen to sign at the old lease rate at 12.5 %of royalties(no sign on bonus), when most of the property owners around here got about $3000.00 sign up and will get about 17% royalties. They say If we dont sign they will go around us, but cant control where the gas and oil will come from once the fracking is complete.

We all know DEP can't keep track of the surface issues let alone what happens 8-9000 ft below us.

what other choses do we have?

Get a lawyer.
