US Energy

Has anyone been approached by US energy to lease shallow depths?  Does anyone know of US energy?  Also, could anyone tell me the value of shallow i.e. down to 5,000 ft.  Any info would be great.

Are you referring to US Energy Exploration Corp. - from Rural Valley, PA?  If so, they are a shallow driller.  Have been operating in SW PA for 20 or so years.  They drill "shallow", less than 3,000 foot vertical gas wells, but in the past 2 years or so have been drilling horizontal oil wells in Butler County.

I believe they are out of Armstrong County... around Kittaning.  They are a smallish company but they seem to want to expand.
