I just received my first royalty check from Rex. I had no idea that the well was actually up and running, assuming that royalties only commence when the well is in operation. Anyone have info on this. Also, I believe the well head is just north of Kelly Road in Muddy Creek Twp, though I see no signs that indicate it.

I tried twice to upload the unit declaration but it is not working. If you haven't seen it I can point you there.

Permalink Reply by Brynn Maudlin on January 29, 2015 at 1:02pm I received the unit declaration in the mail. The royalty check was a little over $100. I hope that's not typical. Yes please send me the link to the unit declaration. Many thanks!

Go here: http://www2.co.butler.pa.us/recorder/Navigate.asp?SimpleSearch.x=68...
Type in your last name and first name. Click on Names Summary. Click the box in front of your name. Click on Detail Data - may take a few seconds to load.
The first Instrument to come up will be a Modification Document. Click on the blue letters Display Document. That is the Unit Declaration.

Maybe so, but it's not what this country is about. I understand the "spread the wealth" thing and I'm for it when it comes to corporate executives who are only worried about their own salaries and bonuses. The low level employees are a necessary evil that would be eliminated in a second if they could do it. No empathy or compassion at all. Just dog eat dog corporate Darwinism at work. Screw anyone who is a burden on their profit margin. They do create jobs but only at the bare minimum compensation simply because they can.
