Thanks for the link Joseph.    Also those other 15 counties listed in the oil window should be encouraged about this news.     We people living in the "patch"  may think the o&g business has slowed down, but under the radar the companies are making deals with each other, given a little time we will hear the new joint ventures and the engineering techniques.

EV just hit a monster deep well up in Licking County last month or so. I heard the numbers are better than any oil window well drilled to date in the Utica.

gary, I heard the licking county well was drilled in the rose run formation.it is making almost all brine water and may be plugged. that is all I can say.

Read an article a little earlier today on the Marcellus Drilling News.

It said that EVEP Chairman John Walker said that production from the Nettles Well was about 50% of that of a nearby similar hydro-fractured well and for that reason was a big disappointment.

So, Chairman John Walker says it's a big disappointment.

I wonder if it still would be a big disappointment if oil were at $100.00 per barrel ?

If oil were at $100.00 a barrel I wonder if production would still be at about 50% of the nearby and similar hydro-fractured well ?

Just me wondering here - am I the only one wondering ?

Joseph ,Im also wondering like you , why would chesapeake drill the second lateral on the Parker Well with Gasfrac if it wasnt working that good for the Nettle Well, you would think that chesapeake would have known that it wasnt going to work. Tena
