Yeah were is this information coming from?

I can't seem to find anything about said rally. 

ALSO how is this RALLY allowed on district property??

This was created as a Facebook event on the Marcellus Outreach Butler facebook page.  My husband was wondering the same thing about it being held on district property.

Confused by the last article I posted and the one below.  One article states work at the Geyer pad is halted and this one below states work will continue.

Go to the Marcellus Outreach Butler website for the info and picture.  That one is more active than Marcellus Outreach Middlesex.

I agree,the Marcellus Outreach Butler facebook is more active.  Also the Section 27Alliance, Butler county is also pretty active.

I'm sure,the opponents that have eyes on this site may change that after they see this..

Thanks for the Section 27 info.  I assume they will want to park at the Middle school and High school for this "event."  Wonder if that is OK with the school district.  It's not a school event.

Good question.  I would think this not allowed but I am not sure what is allowed and what isn't any more.  Do you need permission from the school, township??

Here is another misleading photo that is on the Mars parent group website.  The entrance to the well pad is down the street further.  A construction company separate from the well site had that equipment sitting there for a different job site.  They have this as the entrance to the well pad...false statement.

Here is another article on the recent decision from Judge Yeager.  The solicitor for middlesex zoning board asked for a $1 million bond but the judge decided to reduce it.

Judge stops work at Geyer well in Middlesex Township

BUTLER — Butler County Judge Michael Yeager has issued a stay on work at the controversial Geyer well pad in Middlesex Township, and ordered the well’s challengers to post a hefty bond. 
Yeager ruled that work at the five-well site on Denny Road must cease at least until July 26, by which time those bringing the appeal — the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, the Clean Air Council and two Middlesex residents — must provide a $250,000 bond to continue the stay. 
The bond is to guard against any financial damages Rex Energy would incur as a result of the work stoppage. 
The environmental groups and two residents challenged a zoning ordinance amendment approved in August by Middlesex supervisors that would permit the Geyer wells. 
The township zoning hearing board upheld the ordinance, and the challengers appealed the decision in county court. 
Yeager’s order also stayed the effect of the township ordinance pending the outcome of the appeal. 
Attorney Mike Gallagher, the solicitor for the zoning board, said Rex Energy had requested a $1 million bond from the challengers, but Yeager chose to reduce it to $250,000. 
Gallagher said if the challengers do not provide the bond, the stay will not be in effect and work could continue at the Geyer well.
