A few pictures over the past few days. Flare flame increasing in size

Nice work, Brian. Any idea if EdgeMarc is planning any additional well pads or wells in that area (Allegheny Twp.)? Do you know when the pipeline to that area will be completed?
Thanks.
I am not sure of EdgeMarcs intentions, but i would assume with an investment like they have in the pipeline i would hope they put some more well pads in. Private company like that, i am not sure if they disclose much info to the public.
I heard they wanted to have gas down the pipeline by thanksgiving. We shall see if they weather cooperates to make that happen.
Thank you- Have you heard any rumors floating about?
I heard the same thing about the Thanksgiving timeline back in March. When I was in the Six Points area in July, I saw no evidence of a pipeline coming through where I understood it was planned. I wonder if the timeline has changed. Haven't heard anything otherwise.
I am located in Ohio and have a farm near Eau Claire. Was at the farm last week and observed the Cratty flaring, easy to see from Sandy Point Rd. It's an amazing sight at night and lights up the immediate area like daytime, and we could see reflections of it in the clouds from 3-4 miles away. The posted photos represent exactly what we saw.
There is a great deal of activity with the Edgemarc pipeline, lots of heavy equipment, pipe sections, and personnel where the line crosses Rt. 38 just South of Slater Rd. as well as on the Foxburg Rd./Parker Rd. near Six Points.
Thanks for the update. Good to hear the pipeline project is moving forward. I sold 7.5 acres near the corner of Maple Furnace Rd. and Rt. 58 at Six Points this past spring. I did retain G&O rights. Once the pipeline is in place it would be nice to hear that they plan to drill some more wells in the area.
I was at my farm for turkey season.
Went by the Cratty well pad and observed what appeared to be another round of fracking. Dude in the guard shack confirmed that fracking was again happening.
Was informed by local friend that two Cratty wells had been drilled and 2nd was being fracked and that an 8" pipeline was to run to the Cratty pad.
I am by no means expert on this, but 8" seems a large diameter just for one pad's production.
Unless it's a stellar producer...
I would say the the line size is to give them additional take away capacity in the future if they come back to drill more wells. I don't think the production from those 2 wells would be sufficient to bring that 8" line to capacity.
In my opinion...
Back at the farm for deer season, drove by the Cratty well and all the paraphenalia was present for fracking.
Fracking happened the first part of Oct. and and then Nov. and it appears they are-or have recently been-fracking a third time.
Anybody know how many wells were drilled on the Cratty, or what the story is regarding 3 fracking sessions?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
