I live on Putney Ridge Road, I have seen a lot of equipment going by the house in the last week, over-sized loads that look a lot like rig pieces.
I talked with Eclipse about one month ago and they told me they were very anxious to drill this well and get the results because if they can make it work it is a game changer because of the drilling cost gains.
I have talked to two different people who live on Rosehill who told me they are "drilling" although that it a generic term used a lot of times to describe any drilling related activity.
Twice I have seen the really big crane that they use to set the rigs up go by my house. I do believe the snowfall over the weekend messed their progress up a little bit.
Just drove by from Grape hollow it looks like the rIg is up?.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
