Chesapeake renewal

Lease is up this fall. 5 k/acre. Just curious, I know things are bleak for Chesapeake, but just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with lease getting renewed or not getting renewed?

Hookstown, PA.    Range has bought out and top leased all of CHK. Not too happy about their new contract !

Bradford county, lease expired, I asked for release and I got it.

I wrote to Chespeake  and informed them of my two leases by number and stated they we expired and I wanted them to release them officially. After a couple of weeks I was informed they were going to do so and it would take a few weeks longer. Sure enough I was notified by email that they were released and were recorded in the court house and attached copies. One lease was so recorded and released the second one was not as they had the wrong lease number, but indicated they were in the process of correcting it. That was the last I heard from them. The contact guy I don't think is there anymore. So I will try again soon for the remaining one. They were quick, polite and professional, which surprised me. I guess now they are cutting back big time. Send me an Email and I'll send you his email contact.

Harrison county....not due until april......they renewed a month and a half ago.......several neighbors also.

i was just informed my lease will not be renewed by CHK...23 acres..mahoning co..i was in a unit with a pad built on it,but it seems they are moving out of the area..in this part of mahoning co..

What part of Mahoning Co. ?

Do you think they might have sold your lease and not told you yet ?

A long shot but maybe you'll still hear from another new lessee ?

Unitized with a pad causes me to think a bit.
