I recently watched the movie "Hillary's America" I recommend every American see that. It explains the history of the democratic party and the rise of the Clintons. It talks about their views on the oil and gas industry and the war on coal and fossil fuels. I came away from that movie enlightened and disturbed. If she becomes our next POTUS we are in for trouble on a biblical scale. Our country will cease to exist as we know it. Has any one else on site seen this?

That is ridiculous and laughable!!! Trump is a true danger to this nation!!
Explain how supporting America's middle class is bad? Let me add the fact that Hillary has to pay everyone for their support, while Trump's support comes out of patriotism. Trump is offering the middle class a "new American order" whereby we have a voice in government that is now being subordinated to special interests and donors. Hillary is fighting for special interests and donors, terror groups like BLM and OPEC sheiks that make up a large portion of her support. Trump on the other hand is offering economic, trade and immigration solutions that benefit America's middle class. While Hillary claims she has a new rule for everyone paid for with higher taxes, Trump wants a moratorium on those new rules. While Hillary elicits support from those actively supporting Islamist terror, Trump elicits the support of our law enforcement personnel. Trump, a "new American order" where the middle class comes first...
U are right, Trump is a clear and present danger to every facet of the institutional corruption of Washington DC. Hillary is the face of institution corruption and U need to look no further than the people supporting her. Thanks for pointing that fact out...
Hey Frank, What you just posted does not make sense, How in the world can you possibly know what Trump will do or not do unless he gives some sort of explanation of what he will do? Trump is not a GOD! He cannot foresee what tomorrow will bring! The politics can change in an instant.
Do you remember PEARL HARBOR being bombed. No one was expecting that!. It so happens that I recall a phone call my father received on his day off. That phone call changed our lives for several years to come. Dad was ordered to go to his workplace. All he said to us was, "I've got to go to work. I have no idea when I will be back. Japan just bombed PEARL HARBOR!"
And out the door he ran. Dad worked for the telephone company. His workplace was the main office between Sampson Naval base and other important communication centers to the west. All communications were routed thru the Geneva telephone office. Ordinarily there were few if any problems on weekends. It was normally very quiet in the building.
Dad said later that it was extremely noisey in the building as phone calls were being routed thru the many mechanical switches that were in use during this crises. Dad was the only trouble shooter to keep this mechanical telephone monster switching system running. He also worked nights for many months afterward. Our lives were turned upside down for several years.
I will try to explain a little of how it worked and the problems. Electrical pulses came over a wire to a relay that sent the next electrical pulse to the next relay that it was directed to.
Keep in mind that these are mechanical switches. The contacts can get dirty or maybe burned by tiny sparks created....much like your light switch can do over the years. There were hundreds of thousands of these tiny switches that need attention from time to time in Dad's workplace. Switches that need cleaning, adjustment and even replacement.
Somewhere on the internet I found a place that has photos and even the noise that these switches made. if you care to look.
But that decision that Japan made after promising they would not involve the USA in their squabble directly affect my family and probably many of the folks that are reading this posting.
If Trump wins the election, you can bet that not everyone that voted him in will not be happy. The same for Hillary!
Hi, William
I take your point that I have no way to know with certainty what Trump will do as POTUS. My decision to favor Trump is instead based on a form of "fuzzy logic". When I was young I worked with something called "threshold logic". I even hold a patent in that realm. Well, fuzzy logic is akin. And it is entirely unsurprising that your own fuzzy logic decision outcome might differ from mine.
I also agree with you that if Trump wins, many of his voters will be unhappy, at least from time to time. I'm certain I will be. Trump is obviously a political neophyte, with evidence of this commonplace among his various utterances.
But I believe our country is better when freedom and liberty are maximized. And I do not favor a country having "open borders". That entire concept is ridiculous. In addition, even though I'm not personally impacted, I do not believe younger people should be FORCED to purchase health insurance at outrageous prices. Nor do I favor presence of penises in the locker rooms and showers of high school girls. Regarding these things and many others, enough of the catastrophic Obama "change" agenda is enough. And Hillary offers us only four more years of the same.
All that says nothing of the subject of this forum: energy. I believe I can rely on Trump to support natural gas development. Contrariwise, Hillary in all likelihood will work further to damage our natural gas futures.
Bottom line, as you suggest, nothing is certain with Trump. But much is certain with Clinton . . . and it is ALL BAD!!
Frank,
Of course no one knows the future. But we have the statements of both candidates with regard to oil and gas development that give us an inkling as to how they might act.
Hillary Clinton has stated she intends to work to limit or eliminate hydraulic fracturing.Hydraulic fracturing is at the heart of shale development and the resurgence of domestic oil and gas development.
Trump supports the use of hydraulic fracturing and supports further development of domestic oil and gas.
Finally, the main point is that Hillary believes in heavy handed control of an overbearing centralized government. This is unconstitutional.
Trump believes that the decisions about oil and gas development should reside with the states. That is the Constitutional position.
Agreed. When only O&G development considerations control, a decision favoring Trump is a no-brainer. I would argue that even when broader considerations are taken into account, Mr. Trump sill comes out as the only sensible POTUS choice. Hillary has "catastrophe" written all over her. It's that simple.

Trump has been in as president for more then a year now. And I have to say that he has not risen much, if any, in my opinion.
World leaders and the folks they represent are not greatly impressed in a positive light by being called S*&$%#@S because of their color or the place of their birth!
Regardless of what he may have accomplished in the last few months, do you really think that the abuse of people who do not know him personally or even those who he has chosen to advise him or take charge of the various segments of the government will continue to bow down to him?
This is such petty bulls... it doesn't deserve half the attention the liberals are giving it! The Donald cares more about this country and making this nation great again than all the democratic liberal assholes in the House and Senate. Look at Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and others on there side..... They are out to destroy our duly elected President at all costs even if it mean a total governmental melt down. Every little thing he says under strict scrutiny to the point of ridiculousness! He is right! There are shit hole countries that we take people from that stay on welfare and suck the government tit for generations! And many of them never learn the English language. We should be more selective in the people we welcome into our country.
As for bowing down to him, I don't think that's what he wants. He only want cooperation and loyalty as he should. Instead of focusing on the important issues that need attention the liberals only want to discredit him and take him down. I hope they do not succeed because if they do it will be sad day for the people of this country and the world. Yes, he needs to be more careful in the words he choses but the big picture is still the same. Imagine if Clinton would have been elected instead! That is a night mare! No coal, no oil and gas, no tax cuts, open and weak borders, liberal supreme court justices, tax payer funded late term abortions, millions of muslims pouring across our borders, and the list goes on! So who's side are you on?
trump is all right if you like a pervert illegitimate bastard sob fat ass moron who makes his own problems and problems for the country (he has used some of these words to describe others). He has never had a civics lesson in his life, does not understand the three legs of government, and wants to limit free speech except for the s@#$ that comes out of his mouth. The perv has also used the s@#$ word. You would be better off getting some sleep than posting on this page.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
