Just curious...

I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

Hi Brian,The next few months will tell 20 is decent for our area.

Seneca only started turning these wells into the line in mid-February. So March was their first full month, and some didn't even get a full month of sales then. Seneca seems to be getting consistently good results.

Jack as I wrote before lets watch the next three months to judge production, not sure where you get the consistently good results?

Jack 19.9 for april for the same well?

All of a sudden there is a lot of interest from three different companies that want to buy mineral rights in our area, north west Tioga county.

They didn't give any clear amounts but said substantially higher than $1,500.00 per acre. Something going on ?

Jackie Root put together a landowner group solicitation for bids for landowners in townships to the east of the Sabinsville storage area. Many have old expired leases.

I assume that Seneca still holds a good bit of acreage east of Sabinsville, so Jackie will need to work around them.

There are several big buyers active in the county now. If you check the latest deeds being recorded, you'll find that Seneca is one of them. Nobody knows what acreage in their core areas is really worth better than they do!

Good Info , Jack .. Thanks

Now that Seneca has declared all their wells in Farmington Twp. and surrounding areas abandoned doesn't that mean all the old leases are not in effect anymore ? How can you have H B P with no well ?

Who is responsible to plug the abandoned wells, the landowner - Seneca ?

Seneca will have all their wells plugged at their expense. You have nothing to worry about.
