The former President was stumping for his wife and ridiculed the people of west Virginia and eastern Kentucky. Just change the words "Coal People" to "Oil and Gas People" and he could have easily been talking about any of us in shale development areas.

This is a perfect example of the disdain that elitists like Hillary Clinton have for people such as you and I. She is so smart (NOT!) and we should be happy to have someone like her take care of us.

That's why she doesn't care that shutting down domestic oil and gas development will hurt millions of people let alone destroy the economy. She really doesn't care about what is good for people and our economy. All she cares about is where her next millions are coming from.

right on barry

Well, he is right when he says "They blame the president when the sun doesn’t come up in the morning now."  The president gets blamed for a lot of stuff out of their control, whether they are Republican or Democrat.  But Obama has not helped those reliant on the success of coal, that is true.  Oil and gas is in the crosshairs.

This is not a Political discussion group and this has nothing to do with the UTICA AND MARCELLUS

Sorry Mike but yes it does have everything to do with Utica and Marcellus development. Our future hinges on Utica and Marcellus development and Clinton is against it along with coal mines, and "coal miners" as she has stated. She is in the pockets of Saudi Arabia and other special interest groups who are opposed to our developing our own natural resources. The Saudi's donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation in recent years. Do you think they don't expect something in return? Could that be why she is so opposed to pipelines and oil and gas development? TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!

Mike,

I respectfully disagree. Shale development takes place in West Virginia.

Prior to posting this thread,I took time to consider whether this fit the content of this site. It has everything to do with this site. Politics and oil and gas development are intricately entwined, inseparable,

So many time in my life I have heard people say "I wish I knew then what I know now".

Well we do know now that Hillary Clinton supports the "War on Coal", and as President intends to wage a "War on Oil & Gas". That war includes stifling development of the Marcellus and Utica shales.

People ask me why she would do this? It would hurt people and the economy. The simple answer is because she doesn't care about people or the economy. She is interested in power and her own wealth. She gains both by placating special interests who support her financially.

The former President and his wife are of a like mind. His dismissive remarks about the "Coal People" is how they feel about the "Oil and Gas People" or the "Shale People"

So if you vote for her and she wins and implements her plans to attack domestic oil and gas development, including in the Marcellus and Utica, you can't say "I wish I knew then what I know now". Because you do know now.

Never defended her and I wont be voting for her either

Mike,

You miss my point, never said you defended her or would vote for her.

Just pointing out why I believe my thread was relevant to the Marcellus and Utica.

VERY WELL SAID BARRY D! I salute you my friend!

Barry,

Legally Billary can't occupy the position of president. She already has had 2 Terms in the White House.

I'm sure if we reviewed the law we could apply it to keep her out of the White House.

So here it is, the reason Billary can't be elected president, then shut down Oil & Gas:

Twenty-second Amendment to the United States Constitution

The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for election and overall time of service to the office of President of the United States.

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

A marriage legally makes two person join as one. Given this act of God, Hilliary & Bill became Billiary, so Hillary acted as president for 2 terms already.

Hillary is disqualified by the 22nd Amendment, but who follows the rules/laws these days.

Surely you are kidding?  Come on, man.

I wish that was the case but the Liberal powers that be don't think that way Ron.....:(
