FXEF replied to oildude's discussion 'Which oil company drills the best well?'
"Acctually CHK has their own drilling company, Nomac Drilling. CHK still uses other drilling companies for some of their wells."

FXEF replied to Chartist's discussion 'New tactic by gas companies?'
"Jim, What exactly is he selling, royalty or O&G mineral rights? I may be wrong, but if he sells royalty and and no well is drilled and the lease expires then there is no longer any royalty. He still owns the O&G minerals and therefore could…"

FXEF replied to Frank Walker's discussion 'Is A Freshwater Impoundment A Problem?' in the group Bradford County, PA

FXEF replied to mike's discussion 'Petroleum Distilates'
"I don't know the wording in your lease, but most likely "right to audit" would be to audit the record keeping of the books, not testing the composition of gas and/or NGLs.  "

FXEF replied to mike's discussion 'Petroleum Distilates'
"Independent test would probably be cost prohibitive and the operator allowing such test would not be likely.  "

FXEF replied to mike's discussion 'Petroleum Distilates'
"Natural gas is rated by the BTU factor and condensate is rated by the API Gravity. Some check stubs have the BTU factor and API gravity listed, however royalty owners are at the mercy of the operator."

FXEF replied to mike's discussion 'Petroleum Distilates'
"Yes, drip or casinghead gas comes from some forms of wet gas."

FXEF replied to mike's discussion 'Petroleum Distilates'
"No, if there is not a pipeline, the only option would be to flare the gas. That would be a waste and not good for the environment."

FXEF replied to mike's discussion 'Petroleum Distilates'
"Mike, Separating the condensate and water from the raw natural gas is done at each well site and stored in the tank battery, therefore each wells liquids are not co-mingled with other wells."

FXEF replied to Utica Shale's discussion 'CHPK to drill only 250 wells total through 2016 ?'

FXEF replied to Gary Ball's discussion 'How to avoid paying taxs on your leases'
"What you say may sound good, however those who are able bodied yet refuse to be productive, refuse to better themselves, and do nothing but consume resources..... they have very little to tax. 100% of nothing equals nothing. The IRS must tax…"
