East Canton Osnaburg

About 2 months ago they were doing the seismic testing down Rt. 44 Never heard anymore about it. Does that mean we are close? I called Chesapeake and I was told that no that is very preliminary and doesn't mean anything. Hoping she was wrong. I am hoping all this comes while I am still young enough and healthy enough to enjoy some royalties LOLSee More

"Does anyone know what osnaburg twp, is getting now? I know they started at $200 and acre than $350 than $500, $750 and last was $1000 for 5 yrs. more for 10 yrs.  They sure played a game and would like to know what it is up to now. Thanks"

"From what I heard today from who I believe to be a good source, they say they did hit and alot earlier than they expected to.  So they are headed to Carrolton. Wish they would stay right around here and just drill, drill, drill. I am ready."

"We signed in January, 25 acres in Osnaburg and where told the same exact thing. They were pulling up and now or never sort of thing. I asked them straight up.... and they both looked us straight in the eyes and said that was the best offer, the one…"

"No, we live in Osnaburg twnsp. and have heard nothing from anyone. We signed in Jan. I did email the person we signed with and asked if a block was made around us and he said no. That wasn't very incouraging for us. What is the letter about?"

"Sounds good, but try getting hired, now that is another matter. CHK receives 12,000 "Online" job applications a month to fill 500 jobs. You do the math...............if you do not know someone who knows someone, the odds are against you."

Chesapeak is hiring

I see on www.indeed.com that Chesapeak is hiring about 5 management postions in the Canton area. Hope that is a good sign for drilling soon.

Tell us your story...
we have been approached by 2 differant companies about leasing our land. The first company has contacted us at least 5 times, last night we met with them again. My question is they keep telling us no one in Stark co. has signed for more than the x amt. they have offered us. They are also trying to get us to sign for 10 yrs vs. 5 yrs. last night when the land man was here this was the first time we were approached about 10 yrs. from either co. How do I find out if we are getting the best per acre we can? We only have 30 acres so it is not like we are on a huge amt. of land
