number of well heads

We are getting royalty from a well that has one well head. We are in a 750 acre unit, of which we own 101 acres. There is one horizontal well that is only under about 350 of the 750 acres and not near our 101. What are the chances that more wells will be drilled on the existing pad? And, if they drill more, what's usually the time frame that they return?

You can get an idea what the prospects for the remaining wells are depending on your location and the well operator.   Let me know your township and the driller and i can share some thoughts.

Hi Scott...we are getting royalties from Chief but our lease is with Chesapeake...I understand that they are in partnership on our well and we are in Burlington Township.
